“ I am a USMC vet and have been going to the Long Beach VA health center for about a year on almost a weekly basis. I always stop at the canteen for a snack before heading home. There is usually live music and air conditioned indoor seating with lots of patio seating outside. I will usually stop by the Patriot store just for kicks. Great prices on things and the merchandise is always changing. I finally got my hat to show I served from the store! ”

Well the short order cook at the canteen grill did an awesome job when I visited the canteen here for the first time. A veggie omelette and hash brown plus grits. I am getting hungry now. ”
